GYM MOM — OFFICIAL TITLEThe House
What started from scratch is now 2 locations and growing, with a community that we could have only dreamed of.
Before we could even purchase alcohol, we started the journey of building our first tiny, 4,000 square foot gym in Port Hueneme. We started with zero members & zero clue what we were doing but what we did have is family, friends and the will to build something from nothing.
Fast forward 7 years with thousands of members served, multiple locations and the best freaking team we could ask for, we are so proud to say that we have the best community of people in our facilities. Not a day goes by that we take for granted the love from our family, members and friends who continue to support the vision of changing the way gyms operate.
It's a family operation top to bottom: Two kids, Gym Mom, weekends, holidays, 2 a.m. equipment fixes. And yes — they love their dogs. Ask David about them at the front desk and budget an extra twenty minutes if Skipper and Gracie are there.
You won't see them at any specific place or time, but their work behind the scenes is some of the most important work getting done.

Sam is the magic behind the lens. IG, YouTube or TikTok, he's the goat who makes us all look better and funnier than we are, haha.
THE CREWProtocol Documentation
DIRECT & CLEAR communication is the only way to quickly and effectively solve any issues. No hearsay. No gossip. Just straight to the source. Communication is KEY.
Building trust with our team and members is the best way to continue to grow our amazing community. Transparency is the foundation of that trust.
The boring work is the little things most people don't like to do, like clean the dumbbell rack, pick up the little scraps off the floor. It's the little things that usually get overlooked, but end up meaning the most. People notice when the boring work gets done. Take pride in excellence.
Don't be afraid to lean into making deeper relationships. Our team, members and supporters should feel like family. Establish boundaries, but these relationships are more than transactions.
Lead others how you would want to be led. Treat others with respect and show what it means to be someone that is looked up to. ALWAYS do the right thing.
Nothing is ever going to go perfect. Stop, assess the situation and address or pivot if needed. Stay focused on the goal. When failures occur, learn from them as they are opportunities to get better.
We're going to hold everyone accountable from David, the founder, to the team, all the way down to the members. Nobody gets a pass. We are all mature enough to take responsibility.
We are on a mission to change the game. We must act with intensity and adapt when needed to win. This applies to training, food and life.

Tours are usually given by someone whose name is on the lease. Fifteen minutes on the floor and you'll know if this is your house.
